For such a huge weight, the most important thing in the paper reeling machine is the bearings that transfer the paper to the shaft cylinder for rolling.
Compared with other parts of the paper machine, the paper reel shaft bearings are in a relatively good working environment, which is relatively dry and has a low temperature of about 25 degrees Celsius. However, these bearings must be protected from being contaminated by paper dust.
The paper reeling machine rotates relatively slowly, especially as the paper roll continues to grow, the speed gradually decreases. Most of the butter is used for lubrication of the shaft cylinder.
Many manufacturers are now using circulating oil to lubricate these bearings, and often use the same circulating oil system as the drying cylinder bearings. This type of lubrication is becoming more and more common, especially for larger machines and equipment. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure that there is enough oil to meet both purposes. When using butter lubrication, the bearing lubrication of the paper reel can be lubricated with the same butter as the wire and press parts. Lubrication should be done about once a month.
